Internacional Acero Mercado Diario: Europeo HRC Planes Para Subir Precios Y Negativo Comentarios Mercado Mayo Ser Aliviado

Recently, European steel mills have raised the price of hot coil in the first quarter of next year, and the strong support of raw material costs is still the main factor. The negative feedback due to poor demand is expected to continue into the first quarter of next year, leading to production cuts across Europe. On the other hand, the cost of shutdown and maintenance may be greater than the cost of not suspending production, so some steel mills are interested in continuing production despite the small loss. However, there are also some large steel mills that bear the brunt of the implementation of production reduction plans to reduce the current market demand pressure, such as ArcelorMittal in October to idle three blast furnaces, and in the future will also overhaul a blast furnace in France. Two blast furnaces in France and the Netherlands are still idle. At present, traders do not have much inventory, so traders will focus on replenishment in the near future. Today's European local HRC price is 610 euros/ton EXW Ruhr, and the tradable price is basically in this range, the price of small batch orders may reach 640 euros/ton EXW, and the price of large orders is 590 euros/ton EXW. A wave of price increases is expected next week, ranging from 40-50 euros/ton EXW.
